Earthquake In Delhi 5.7-magnitude Recorded

The epicentre of the at the earthquake was said to be in India-Nepal border. While the quake was of 5.7-magnitude on the rictor scale – the time was about 5.00 PM to 5.05 PM.
No loss of life of property has been reported thus far.
Tremors were felt across Delhi, Chandigarh and NCR.
Earthquake Report stated that city closest to the epicenter is Baitadi in Nepal.
Last month Japan was hit by a 9.0 magnitude temblor which resulted in a massive tsunami. The quake is reported to have claimed more than 10,000 lives.
According to news reports, the epicentre of the earthquake was at Indo Nepal Border (one
report says epicenter at Hindkush Mountains.) The region falls under high seismic zone region.
